Vacuum Plasma Spraying (VPS)
A thermal spray process variation in which the process is carried out under controlled atmospheric conditions. The process is carried out in a vacuum chamber and the thermal spray gun is normally operating in a low pressure environment of an inert gas, normally Argon.
