KINETIKS Cold Spray System related visuals
The Heater
The heater is an essential part of each Cold Spray system. Heating up the gas to moderate temperatures is increasing the low ability and ends up in a significant increased velocity of the gas.
Heaters are available with 17 KW and 30 KW. The selection of the Model is based on the used Gas and the max. required temperature at the gun.

The Powder Feeder
The PF 4000 Comfort is a Powder Feeder that is developed especially for Thermal Spray Systems which run on high pressures. Disassembling without tools and refilling powder without stopping the thermal spray system are two features which are the evidence for the very comfortable handling of the system. The setup for the Cold Spraying allows to feed up to 1 dm³/h at a maximum pressure of 44 bar.

The Active Jet
The Active Jet Cold Spray Gun can be operated without or with a Pre Heater.
This give a variability for the configuration of application tailored System.

F.e. spraying aluminium needs only the Active Jet gun; Spraying Niobium gives the best coating properties using the 30 KW Pre Heater and the Active Jet running Helium at 30 bar and 800°C.

The Controller
The controller includes:

  • 30 KW Regulator

The control unit is designed for the industrial use. When the recipe is typed in; it just needs to start the system and everything else is done by the PLC. Local and Remote operation is a standard feature as well as data recording via Ethernet.
